ACTIVITIES AND FUN ON LAND, SEA, AND AIR IN IBIZA
SUCCESS OF THE "I ENJOY IBIZA DAY" WITH OVER A HUNDRED PARTICIPANTS
Last Sunday, April 14, the "I Enjoy Ibiza Day" was celebrated, a recreational day aimed at showcasing all the services and activities offered by the members of "Enjoy Ibiza Activities," the experiences club of the Tourism Promotion of the island of Ibiza, and all the outdoor adventures that our beautiful island offers throughout the year in this natural paradise.
It is worth noting that the event was a charity event in favor of ADDIF (Association of Adapted Sports of Ibiza and Formentera), and all proceeds from registrations will continue to contribute to the great work being done by this association to improve the lives of these individuals.
The event took place in Es Figueral and had the support of the Invisa Hotel Cala Blanca and Cala Verde, where various activities were carried out and where participants enjoyed a paella to regain energy after a morning full of adventures.
The day began with a surprise from the air: Ibiza en Globo offered a captive flight for the early risers. They were able to enjoy the views from above, creating an absolutely unforgettable memory.
Next, it was time for activities on land and sea, with an excursion to the area of Pou des Lleó. Participants were able to enjoy the beautiful coastal area by sea, with its crystal-clear waters, passing through points like s'Illot de s'Or or sa Punta de ses Eres Roges.
The sea activity companies: Kayak-Ibiza, Ascanio Surf School, and Anfibis Ibiza offered an individual or double kayak excursion, and the Paddle Surf excursion was provided by Sup Yoga Ibiza and Sup Yoga Pilates Ibiza. Some adventurers were able to enjoy a new experience with the Big Sup, a giant board led by a monitor, where laughter and falls into the water were inevitable. Additionally, to oversee everything, we had the support boat courtesy of S.E. Yachting.
The land activities were varied, from a Jeep outing with Ibiza Jeep Tours to Buggies with Ibiza Buggy Adventure and Emove Ibiza. Can Manolo Bikes also offered an electric mountain bike route. These excursions allowed participants to explore the entire area, reaching the Torre d'en Valls with views of the island of Tagomago. Finally, with Senderistes sense Fronteres, a hiking route was made through the paths of ses Eres Roges, where they encountered some playful goats and, upon reaching the coast, admired the spectacular views.
For a technical stop and to replenish energy, all participants met at the canal d'en Martí in Pou des Lleó, where organizers awaited them with water and fruits. Once recharged, it was time to return and continue the journey back to Es Figueral.
When participants returned from their activities on land and sea, the hotel awaited them with enthusiasm, cheering on UD Ibiza with a giant screen where we watched the team's victory against Atlético Baleares in the Balearic derby.
Additionally, a workshop on esparto was offered by Ibiza Eco Activities at the hotel, as well as a free dance and body expression session offered by the Ecstatic Dance association.
From 2:00 pm onwards, all participants, monitors, organizers, and guests were able to share their experiences and enjoy a delicious paella prepared by the kitchen team of Invisa Hotels. To accompany dessert, Fluxà Ibiza offered a demonstration and tasting of café caleta.
To close the event, we danced to the rhythm of music with Dj Nekken, part of the Ecstatic Dance Ibiza Tribe, where attendees could let themselves be carried away and flow with the music, especially the ADDIF participants.
Throughout the event, we had the help and support of Well Deserved Ibiza in organizing, as well as The Pure Ibiza Production and FUSE Ibiza, who were in charge of the photographic and video content.
It is also worth highlighting one of the main collaborators, TRASMAPI, who are celebrating their 50th anniversary this year and provided T-shirts for all participants.
Finally, we would like to thank the support of prominent figures in the world of sports, both local such as Toni Vingut, and national such as Joan Barreda and Xavi España, who were present throughout the event sharing experiences with all participants. As well as specialized media in outdoor tourism, who over the weekend were able to visit other places on our island such as BIBO Park - Ibiza Botanical Biotechnology, the Ibizaloe plantation, Cova de Can Marçà, or explore the coast by sailboat with Virazon Charter.
We hope that all attendees enjoyed this complete day of unique adventures on the island, and we will continue to work together: public administrations such as the Consell d'Eivissa and municipalities, as well as all the companies associated with the Tourism Promotion of Ibiza and its activities and experiences club "Enjoy Ibiza Activities" to promote Ibiza as a destination for active tourism throughout the year.
